Recipe of How to Make Dorayaki - Do you still remember a cute blue robotic cat from a famous Japanese cartoon? He's Doraemon. He's really so cute. Do you know what his favourite food is? It is Dorayaki. Yeah, that cute fictional character loved a pie named Dorayaki so much. So, this time, I'll tell you the recipe of Dorayaki.
The physical appearance of Dorayaki is similiar to Pancake. Dorayaki has soft texture that gives you a joy when you chew it. Dorayaki is a cake which has favour inside of it. There are many varians of Dorayaki. It depends of what inside of the Dorayaki is.
Okay, so I will ask you to join me making a Dorayaki. It's very easy to make Dorayaki at home actually. Whenever you want to eat Dorayaki, you can easily make it. Because it is very simple and easy. So now you can eat Dorayaki like Doraemon did.

Recipe of How to Make Dorayaki
Ingredients to Make Dorayaki:
- 2 large or 3 small eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- An half tablespoon of baking soda
- 3 tablespoon of water
- 1 cup all purpose flour, sifted
- 3/4 lb anko aka sweet azuki bean paste
- *vegetable oil to fry
The Steps to Make Dorayaki:
- Mix flour and baking soda in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, sugar, and honey together. Pour milk and mix it well.
- Stir dry ingredients into egg mixture until the batter becomes smooth.
- Heat
non-stick frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. At medium
low heat, drop 1/8 of a cup of batter onto the pan. Cook about 2 minutes
until the surface of the pancake
has a lot of bubbles and the edges become dry. Flip over and cook 1
more minute.
- Remove to a plate and cover with a wet paper towel.
- Take
one cake and place a heaping tsp of Anko and cover with another
cake. Wrap it with plastic and press with hands. Pinch to seal the
edges of the pancakes together.
- Now Doroyaki is ready for you!
