- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 3 tbs of flour
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of grounded cinnamon
- 1 tsp of lemon zest
- 5 cups of sliced peeled pears
- 1 tbs of butter
- 1 tbs of lemon juice
The Steps of How to Make Fresh Pear Pie:
- Heat oven to 230 degrees

Put a baking sheet on the bottom oven rack.
- Mix sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and lemon zest in a bowl. Roll out half the pastry and line a 9-inch pie pan.
- Arrange peeled pear

golden brown and bubbly, 35 to 40 minutes longer. Allow to
cool several hours before serving.
